What I do

As Consulente della Relazione Felina® (which is fancy Italian for "Cat Relationship Consultant") I’m specialized in understanding and resolving complex or unwanted behaviors exhibited by cats.

In my approach I focus first of all on your cat's relationship with every family member and assess the cat's well being in its environment. After careful observations and a thorough analysis of the situation - which can be done in person as well as online, I will develop a personalised plan to help both you and your cat(s) live harmoniously together.

My main goals are: ‍

  • Educating cat owners to understand their cats’s behaviours and needs.
  • Providing insights into how to interpret their body language, vocalizations and environmental stressors.
  • Offering guidance on proper handling, socialization, and enrichment activities to promote the overall well-being of cats.

Ultimately, I aim to improve the quality of life for both cats and their owners, fostering understanding, empathy, and a deeper connection between them.

How does the process look like?

  • 1. We will start by making an appointment for a 60-75 minutes online consultation (if you live in Amsterdam and your cat is not afraid of strangers, it can be in person).
  • 2. Before we meet, you need to fill in an online questionnaire.
  • 3. During the consultation we will go over the questionnaire together. If your cat has multiple behavioural issues, we will decide which one is most pressing and focus on that first.
  • 4. After the consultation you will receive a written report outlining the key issue to address, followed by a clear step-by-step action plan on how to do it.
  • 5. A 20 minutes follow up call after two weeks to assess progress.
  • If you wish to receive further advice in the future, you can book a 30 minute “short advice” call.
